What is toll-roasting?

Coffee toll-roasting is the process of sending your green coffee to a commercial coffee roasting partner to roast your coffee. When you send your coffee to an experienced roaster, they will roast your green coffee to your exact requirements and package it to your exact specifications.

When you provide your toll-roasting partner with your green coffee, the toll-roaster, sometimes called "slot roasting" works with you and your coffee recipe to dial in a matching roasting profile to your business' standards.
